Buttons

The two PlaceEngine buttons: "Register Location" and "Get Location" must be included in this order on your site. Button images are shown below. Please download them and use them accordingly.

Get Location Timing

The proper use of the PlaceEngine "Get Location" function is to set up your web site to have the user explicitly click one of the "Get Location" buttons shown above. Upon successful completion of the "Get Location" function, please make sure returned information such as address, latitude and longitude information displayed accordingly as user feedback.

If you would like to set up your web site to automatically issue a call to the "Get Location" function when a user opens the site, please make sure that the user is aware that you site is retrieving his/her location information.

PlaceEngine Icon

Please display one of the following icons on your PlaceEngine enabled site with a link to the PlaceEngine site (www.placeengine.com). Icon image files can be copied from below. The PlaceEngine icon should be displayed near the "Get Location" button. However, if this is inconvenient it should be displayed at least somewhere on the same web page.
